Default half speed

What's the quickest way to halve the speed of a piece of audio? I work out how many sample or mins/secs it is and TCE it.

Default Re: half speed

If you know the bpm, then use Timeshift. Not sure how it'll turn out though given you're talking 50%. Depending on the nature of the material, 10%-15% may be about as far as you can go without audible artifacts from the processing.
