Default VocALign Project 3 crashing Pro Tools

Hey all,
I've run into an issue where trying to load the VocALign Project 3 audiosuite plugin causes PT to immediately crash. It's repeatable, happens every time in multiple sessions, and in both 2022.4 and 2022.7 (I've got both co-installed as I need .4 for the custom shuttle lock on audiobook jobs, pretty much everything else I do in .7). I've hit up Synchro Arts support, but all they've said is to make sure that I'm on the latest version of VAP3, which I already was, heard nothing else from then since (a week ago).

Mac OS 12.6
iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017) (iMac18,2)
3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro 555 2 GB

Pro Tools 2022.4 and 2022.7
VocALign Project 3 v3.3.2.2 (latest)

PT was installed and optimised as per the Monterey guide, so far I've trashed prefs, but I've not gone as far as a full re-install as I'm midway through a couple of projects, so I'm putting that off as long as I can. I can use VA Ultra/Project 5 as a workout but they're both dramatically slower in use than 3 so I'm hoping I can resolve this. If a PT crash log is any use I can attach that, got one saved from the last time I tested this. If you need anything else let me know and I'll add more info

v3 is so old I would just upgrade to v5 to get stability

Slower how? I using VA Ultra and it’s fast as can be.

To Jack, I wonder that 8GB of RAM is just barely enough for the OS. It might be telling to show the System Usage window and see if anything goes red when you open VocAlign. For me, I would add RAM and upgrade to VA5 as it looks like they really improved it(based on video's I've watched). I'd grab it in a heartbeat if I didn't already have ReVoice Pro
