Default beatdetective Tutorial?

I have read the lit on beat detective and i have serveral text books that discuss it briefly, but I am not having any luck with it. Would anyone be interested in posting a step by step scenario on how to make two loops with different timing sync up nicely? BD doesn't seem to be able to pick up on transients properly for me...

More Beat detective info here. You might want to apply Sonys' Trans Mod or Waves' TransX (love that plugin) on your loop to bring out the attack more before using Beat detective. Duplicate the track then use TransX audiosuite on the track. then bring the TransX version and original into a stereo track and apply beat detective. When you finished then bring drag your original back to its own track. This might help. Just an idea. I never tried it yet.
