AAX DSP Dverb issue.

Hi,

My AAX DSP Dverb is not responding to any parameter changes or presets other than the wet/dry slider. When I insert Dverb the factory default preset loads but nothing changes when I turn the knobs or load any of the presets.

However Dverb works just fine in native mode. The DSP version used to work just fine until recent weeks and the only thing I have changed recently in my PT settings is my timeline cache amount to 4gigs. All of my other DSP plugs work fine.

Has anyone dealt with this? I haven't trashed my prefs or anything yet because the native version works just fine and perhaps this is an easy fix that I'm overlooking.

Update:

A clean uninstall and reinstall of 10.3.6 did not fix my problem and neither did trashing prefs. No matter what session I open, AAX DSP Dverb does not respond to any changes - all I hear is the factory default reverb - while turning knobs. The native version continues to work fine however.

Update:

I ran Digitest but it gave this error upon launching:

DSI error occurred: -1103

I decided to uninstall PT 10.3.6 and install PT 10.3.5 and everything works fine now -including the D-Verb issue. Digitest works fine as well.

But another problem I had with each fresh install of Pro Tools - it'll hang with a beach ball upon first opening a session. After a force quit then I can just load PT again and sessions will load ok. I wonder if this could be because I change the sample rate to 48k in the hardware tab before loading any sessions for the first time. No biggie I guess.

Here is my concern though; I don't have PT 11 yet, but could this all have happened because I didn't do a co-install of PT 11?

Are there any HDX owners out there running 10.3.6 without a PT 11 co-install that do not have issues with D-Verb as I described above?

Did you delete the specific DSIPrefs file??
It stores various hardware settings along with he info from the old Digisetup file.

No - I was unaware of that file. Where is it? User/Prefs?

I work mainly on P.C. So not 100% sure. I would check the same folder as the PT Prefs

(Stereo Aux-input bus 5-6) Presets and all parameters. DSP & Native in 11
Only in Native for version 10.3.6.

I'm at 44.1KHz 32bit but also tried 24 bit session with the same result.

Wow - ok. Thanks for the confirmation.
I'm just going to use 10.3.5 for now - everything works great.

When I buy PT 11 this will be a problem since I'll have to use 10.3.6 but I guess it won't matter because I'll just use PT 11 for any new tracking/sessions. As for receiving PT 10 sessions while using 10.3.6, I'll have to use native D-Verb or others. I'll just use PT 11 for all of my new tracking sessions since there will be no need to use PT 10 for that.

Update:

I thought I'd install 10.3.7 to see if this issue was resolved and apparently the problem is still there - so back to 10.3.5 for now.
