Can't create an account on duc

Hello,

I've been trying for days to create an account for my studio here (this one is my old personal account).

I'm stuck at "Register in 15".

What can I do to make a new account?

Hmmm, if the old account works, why change it? Having said that, are you using the same email address? Maybe use a different one?

The account creation seems to indeed be broken, I've pinged Avid folks on that and hopefully they'll have a look at it soon.

However one of the DUC rules is to only create one account per user. So its unclear if you are complying with how the might be interpreted or not. I think many of us would also prefer other users do not create shared accounts where multiple different people are posting on them it can just create a confusing mess. So why not say add a footer to your current posts mentioning your studio. Actual account names are such a confusing mess on DUC I don't think many folks pay too much attention to them anyhow. If other individuals from your studio are on DUC have them create accounts (when signups are working) and use a consistent branded signature.

I'm part of a team so I want to make a collective account for my studio with the studio's PT account email adress. I wanted to keep this one personal for my own rig and interrogations.

If there isn't a possibility to make a new account in a few weeks I will just change this account into another one.

I had the same problem over the last couple of weeks. What the heck does “register in 15” mean?

Anyway, I emailed the director of communities here and she helped me get set up. DM me and I’ll send you the email address if you still need.

Please do... Have been struggling to separate Studio concerns from other concerns. There's always concerns.
