Default New track-multiple selects

When you open the "New Track" window, how about check boxes for all the different tracks needed, i.e.
10 mono tracks
4 stereo tracks
4 stereo aux
2 mono aux
1 stereo Master Fader

It would save a lot of mousing around. It seems slow to have to repeatedly go back to the same window. Am I missing something?

Create a session template with the tracks you already need.

Well yes but every session is different. It would be a nice feature. Thanks for the response PeeTee.

I've been lucky enough to get to watch many PT hotshots in action, and the majority of them start off with a hugely overbuilt template with bypassed eq and dynamics plugs. So any new tracks they need are already there, and all they have to do is get the I/O right and "make it red."

I have a main music template that has tracks pre-assigned/routed for Drums (x9), bass, scratch vox, gtr, keys, talkback, master and master verb. I have bypassed EQs and Compressors inserted in the appropriate keeper tracks (drums and bass)and a basic (Ren)verb set up in its track. Saves a lot of time. I just kill the tracks I don't need or re-name and use them as needed. This covers 90% of my music sessions. I have a simpler template for voice over sessions.
