The thread is about personal aesthetic preference. Not about wether one can "get their work done" or not ,,that's a tad bit straw man and not the point .
If the the Windows GUI works fine for you, how about just say that without being dismissive of people who do not care for the look. There is no requirement that others personal aesthetics make sense to you

Do none of you use multiple displays? It's ridiculous compared to Mac. And almost every other professional Windows program.

Whinging over.

K Roche I agree. Whether or not one can "just get to work" isn't the point.

+1, +1, +1
I agree too.
I think it's a perfectly valid point for discussion.

And I do hope Avid have every intention of addressing it.
It's well overdue.

Valid point, agreed, but not enough to mess with your work flow, IMHO. Choosing to not get on board with “I can’t work on this because it’s blue.”

Well I do agree there is no doubt PT on Windows OS is totally functional, as is obvious given numbers of pro's who use PT and PC every day, day in and day out.

That said there is a bit more to the visual looks difference, than just the blue boarder outline. To me most of the dropdown windows (while they have same info ) still look slightly different . Nothing functional just a slightly more dated look maybe ?

Skootch still works, but if you don't already have it you may be out of luck.
Bob Nagy has been all but impossible to reach lately.

I had Skootch back in the Before Time when I ran PT on Windows - damned if I can find the email or files now. I've been on a Mac for music for many years now but still have a PC. PT on PC looks bad - doesn't affect functionality but it's not a great 'look' for a DAW in 2024.
