Default 2021.10.0 No folder track Saturation?

Hi

Maybe I am missing something but in previous versions the Folder track Colour/Saturation followed the actual colour you select the folder track to be. But in this version only the bit around the track name is coloured and the rest of the folder track is grey.
There is a Track Header saturation slider but none for the folder track.
Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Thanks

Garret

I think you might have toggled the little button to the left of 'Saturation'. It means 'colorize tracks'. Kinda. Click it again.

I am also searching for a way to saturate the color of the track Folders. there is no more "tick" box next to the saturation like before on recent PT, at least AFAIK...

Does not seem possible but if anyone knows....

(OP is talking about folders, saturating the color of tracks is not a problem)

are you referring to this option, because it doesn't exist yet (but it should), link below:

Please add “Folder Track Saturation” to UI Customization

It's a needed update.

Ya so I am guessing that graying out the body of the folder track (above the track name up thru to the top color bar) was intentional ---- and while I suppose full color could be offered as an option and of course everyone has their own perspective
I fiddled around and couldn't find a work around. But The realized I did not really want it

Honestly I prefer it being grayed out to being the same color as the tracks in the folder . I even make the folder tracks bottom and top color slightly darker than the tracks inside it

For organizational and quick recognition especially in the session where you have multiple folders expanded

For example in this session you can instantly see what are folder tracks (dark grey) without having to look for the little folder icon ----and what are the associated tracks in this those folders (full color) And what folder tracks are expanded and what ones aren't

How do you make it like this?
so the folder track becomes gray (or like the original default), but the top and bottom color is another?

OK so first (and maybe you already know this ) go to PT Settings/ PT Preferences and on the first Tab "Display"
I select > Default Track Tracks Color Coding > and select None

And I also in Default Clip Color Coding > Track Color

So then in the session I double click the color bar at the very bottom of the track to open Color Palette

Don/t know if this matters but in the General box > Background Color I use "Default"

Then scroll down to Tracks section and in Folder Track Header Brightness (ya screwy name) I move the slider down to 34

And (don't know if this matters but) I only use Routing Folders. Then I open Color Palette and Highlight the tracks in the folder and choose color
Then I highlight the Folder Track itself and choose a slightly darker color

Here is a screen shot of my color palette
