Eleven AAX shipping free with PT 12

Does this perhaps signal a potential and much needed update for Eleven users? I have the Eleven rack and whilst it's a brilliant unit I think Avid have really missed an opportunity to develop the product and compete with the likes of the Fractal and Kemper stuff.

I want to know what about users that already have PT12 (annual license or bought outright). I clicked on the link in the email but the web page gives no information about if existing owners of PT12 also get Eleven for free. Only seems fair since they jumped on early.

The editor works great in PT12.

I got the email but didn't pay much attention to it. This may be one of those 'valid if purchased between' deals that leaves those of us who have already upgraded out.

I have a question about who this applies to.

My copy of pro tools is called "pro tools 12 no charge ug for students". Do I have a perpetual license? Will I be seeing eleven offered to me?

I bought the upgrade to PT12 and now have the Eleven licence on my iLok but no download link has appeared in my Avid account....

Does anyone know how to actually get it?

This whole thread is a waste, it could have saved people's time by just explaining what is going on and linking to this information to start with.

And no this likely signals nothing from Avid about Eleven or the Eleven Rack (that team is long gone...), Likely just Avid trying to induce users to upgrade Pro Tools versions to help Avid make their financial numbers... And that is great, and Eleven is great for what it does (even if it misses some of the great Eleven Rack expansion pack sims).

Would be nice if I can get that and use it in Pt11, because I'm not going to start using 12, but my upgrade to 11 was in the grace period to get 12... I wonder if that doesn't qualify me for Eleven...

Might rather use BIAS anyway...
