I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium service pack 1, Dell studio XPS8100 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @2.80 GHz RAM 8 GB 64 bit operating system.
It looks like the available drivers are for Windows XP. Is this causing an audio conflict? Trouble with audio driver on computer. Cannot get audio from main outs of Avid Eleven or Pro Tools. Sonar X1 Producer that I will continue to use does not recognize asio driver. When clicking on Pro Tools, I get a warning message: Warning loss of plug-in authorization keys may occur This system contains one or more drives formatted with NTFS, which have volume names longer than 11 characters. This combination is known to corrupt some interlock plug in authorizations. In order to remedy this issue before corruption can occur, click yes to quit Pro Tools and rename the NTFS volumes to names that are 11 characters or less. There are a bunch of NTFS files on my computer. How do I know which ones are supposed to be shortened to 11 characters or less? I updates the BIOS from A03 to A05, could this be the cause of the no audio? The test sound in Pro Tools through the headphones is distorted. |
