While setting up a mix one of my 192's lost its analog output capabilty.
When I go to the I/O menu for this particular 192 all I have as output options are "Optical" and "Digital", no "Analog". The Input card seems to be working fine and I do see LED indicators on the OUTPUT meter showing signal is present. This is not a Digital card. Why is PT not seeing this as an Analog card? FYI I tried using known digilink cables and tossing the pref's just in case this was a software problem. Did I miss anything? Dusk

this happened to me today too at 192 when returning to my 192 after visiting an 88.2 session for a minute
i rebooted the software and the 192 and all was well i suspect the switching back and forth after being at 88.2 or another freak it felt like that was the issue..could be wrong

I had a similar situation.
After talking to Digi UK, and a moment before sending the unit to service, they recommended i open the interface and check the node that is connected to the analog card in the 192. Shockingly - it was not connected properly. I have not moved the interface, it was sitting in a rack since i bought it... how it happened ? i have no idea. BUT plugging the node back into the card solved that issue.

I hope this card isnt bad. I have no idea how something can go bad without ever moving an inch. Dusk
