Hi all and happy new year. Does anyone have had problems with catalogs on PT7 ? I´ve a 400 Gigas Disk full of audios and I spent 2 months making a catalog on PT 6.x indexing all of them, organizing by folders, writing down the clip names, database comments, etc... and now with my brand new PT 7 I can´t recover anything. I´ve put the "Catalog-folders".ddb on the correct folder on the new G5 where I installed PT7 and "no-way" It opens a window asking me to convert the old catalogs but.. makes nothing.
Can anyone help? THX very much. |

I've heard a few reports of this. I myself have not seen the problem, despite my trying to make this happen. I used PT v6.9 to create the catalogs. I copied to .ddb file and opened v7 and it works fine. I don't even get a convert option.
Perhaps you should see about getting Digidesign your actual catalog file for them to look at. |
