Pretty lame email but I have to say that Phoenix Verb is pretty great. Wierd combination of apparently strange developer personality and pretty cool products.

Michael's plugs are some of the best, and he's worked hard to make them suitable for post, in particular. I also like that he created his own CPU bypass mechanism, long before PT did the same sort of thing globally. He's a weird dude, but makes great products. I honestly think it was meant to be funny and even thoughtful; but I agree, it kinda doesn't come across that way.

Sounds like it was meant to be a bit of a tongue in cheek funny and an effort to avoid spamming people who may not be interested in Exponential products.
