Pro tools le 7 freezing mid session

Hello.

i recently purchase a second hand 002R and Brand new Acer T180 dual core AMD 64 3800+ , 2gb 800mhz ddr2 512, Sapphire X1650 Pro 512MB 128bit DDR2 Dual DVI TVO PCI-E, 80 gb IDE 160gb Sata 19" monitor.

and it has consitently crashed during both recording and playback - it displays no errorr messages just both graphics and audio freeze up.

I am very grateful for any ideas/solutions.
