Best Drum Module for LE?
Greetings!
I've been a user of ProTools on and off for about 6 years, and I'm finally taking the plunge and putting together a small studio setup at home so that I can demo songs in my room. I was wondering what you guys think are my best options for drum modules/ midi triggered drum samples for use with LE. I've used BFD, and while I really love certain things about it, BFD can sound a bit too "raw" to me (out of the box it sounds very natural, but I'm looking for something cleaner and punchier for rock tunes). Not to mention it is also is an enormous resource hog. I'm wondering if anyone here had any other suggestions as far as programmed drums are concerned? Are there any less resource intensive options for drums, or am I not putting enough effort into getting the most out of BFD? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
