transfering files over the net
I am trying to find a workable solution for transfering files over the net between two computers. I have used foldershare.com to some extent, but has anyone used another way to get files from one person to another. I have several musicians that we like to add our parts, but because of families, it is hard to get together. It is easier to lay down tracks in our own time at home, so it would be nice to have some suggestions on transferring files over the net, ESPecially if its free! Post you thoughts.

Re: transfering files over the net
some of my friends use: YouSendIt it's
free. we usually do File->Save Copy In.. to a separate folder (to make sure there's no extra audio junk) and then use winRAR to package it up .. it can cut the size down by half. you can get winRAR Here WinRAR free to evaluate .. but cheap to buy if you like it. jeff |
