Installing 6.9 freezes - Avid Pro Audio Community

Installing 6.9 freezes

Items left to be installed:211
Searching:Macintosh HD(main drive)
It just keeps the loading and the working wheel comes up. Waited 20 minutes and it didn't go past that. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
