NIC and Digi001
I want to put a NIC in my PC. any experience with this? anything to especially watch out for? I will have a local guy I deal with put it in.

I've had a cheapass Accton 10baseT NIC card in my machine since day one and haven't had any problems, I used to disable it in a hardware profile but now don't bother, it hasn't caused me any grief so far.
I'd possibly only be wary of any bus mastering NICs as they could dominate the PCI bus, then again this usually only occurs when there is traffic on the network, and i'm speculating here I don't have first hand experience with bus mastering NIC's. Anyone else had any bad experiences ? Marcus
