Communication problems

I downloaded the Windows Vista version but it seems that command 8 is not included (??) so I downloaded command 8. But there seems still to be some problems.

"Pro tools is unable to communicate with command 8. Power-cycle command 8 and check its connections. Note if command 8 is not in use, update the peripherals dialog to prevent further warnings"

I cant find any updates.

i could be wrong but, i thought i read on the duc that the command 8 will not work with vista at this time

There is an update for windows Vista on digidesign's website. Here's a link to the page. I think you may have to create a "My Digi" profile but I'm not sure.
