002R mic preamp help
I recently purchased a 002r and when I record drums the mic pres are peaking the inputs even when using dynamic mics with the gain turned all the way down. Has anyone else had this problem?
Do I need to purchase some PADS? Any other tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark |

Re: 002R mic preamp help
Yes, some pads would be useful. Many have found the minimum gain on the 002 preamps to be too hot for drums.

Re: 002R mic preamp help
Thanks, Tele, I'm glad other people are having the same problem and not just me. BTW I've got a 1967 Tele. Love it.
