Help - ERROR TYPE 3
G3 256K - MIX PLUS - 888/24 -
We have just started using our pt system and havn't recorded anything over 2 tracks without any problems. But now we get at random error message type 3 and pt shuts down. Any help is very welcome thanks.

Same here !!
We have B&W G3 350MHz, 256MB, 512K cache, Mac OS Standard 6GB ATA, Magma 7 slots, external drives formatted with HTK 3.0.2, and Atto Dual SCSI card ExpressPCI-DC v1.4.0. ProTools Mix plus (2 Mix Farm), 3 888|24, 1 USD. We've encountered type 3 errors many times: 1. when doing audio import 2. deleting a track 3. close session (almost every time) We've done a rebuild desktop, clean install, Ram verified... Nothing has change. We've tried with another G3 B&W, same thing !!!!! Someone has an explication, a brilliant idea !?! Thank you ! Suz
