PT 9 Student Crossgrade Release Date?

Dear Avid,

Have you any idea when this will be available? I've had mine on order for a month now, was told (by 2 different vendors) it would be arriving to them on 12/26, now looks like it was pushed back to 01/09. Should I cancel my order and put it on my wishlist for Santa next year or keep the believing it will ship?

I know it's been said before but REALLY why couldn't we just get a download code?
