Edit on the fly using the playhead
I love using the keyboard shortcuts (Edit Focus) for trimming selected regions A, S, (and with fades: D, G) .. but it seems you can't do this during playback.
What happens if you try is: the trim does happen, but it occurs at the START point, not where the playhead actually is! Is there another option / workaround anybody knows of? Thanks! |

just click using the selection tool where you what the action to occur from and then choose relevant action. its based on what region you have selected so its not based on playhead. but while playing when you get to the spot you want the action to occur you can hit the down arrow and that will drop the cursor there, but I think you would already have to have a region selected then use the down arrow. . . not sureI will try that when I get to the studio.

Cool!
I didn't think of the down arrow - that's great to mark the spot during playback, then a quick A or S to trim. Perfect. Thank you! |
