Default Lewitt Connect 6 interface

Ive been trying to use the lewitt connect 6 interface to record using the ProTools software on a Windows computer. When I turn the knob to adjust the gain the LED lights on the interface seem to move but there is no change on Protools itself and on the waveforms. Any Advice?

Default Re: Lewitt Connect 6 interface

Can you provide a little more information about how you are trying to record your tracks as I'm not exactly sure what you are doing to record.

The input gain knob on your interface should indeed show you how much signal you have at the interface and you should use that to make sure you are recording at a good level.

In Pro Tools, make sure your track is set to the same input as you are adjusting the gain for on your interface. So if you are using input 1, and have set the gain on input 1, then set your PT track for input one. When you set your track to monitor the input, you should see the level meter react to your source, and at this point, if you were to raise or lower the gain on your interface, you should see the level meter in PT follow. But again, you should set your interface level to the correct gain level for your source.

If you are trying to increase the level of pre-recorded tracks, turning the gain up or down in the interface will not change that. You will have to use one of the Audio Suite tools in Pro Tools to alter the recorded gain.

If this doesn't answer your question, please post more details about what you are doing.
