Protools HD10 deos not require an asset, its free.

That's true for 11 and up, not for 10 and below (afaik).

Hello! What I would like to do is to Satellite link my dubber machine that is running PT 10 HD TDM to my playback machine that is running PT 11 HD (Non HDX, using Asio).

Currently I´m using http://elteesee.pehrhovey.net/ to generate a LTC wave file and then sending that from PT 11 to the Sync HD on the PT 10 TDM rig. This works okay, but would like to get the dubber to lock up faster and be more responsive when scrubbing the timeline on the playback machine.

Would an iLock asset with Satellite link on the PT 10 HD rig do me any good. Or would I need HDX and a Sync HD on the playback machine as well?

Please, could someone again clarify? Does PT 10HD need an extra satellite ilok option to slave with a PT11HD? Avid store only offers video satellite LE option to buy, satellite link is only included in annual 11/12HD upgrade plans. I really do not understand the difference. AFAIK video satellite LE is an option for LE users which I am not. So what do I need to do to slave a PT10HD with no satellite option with a PT11HD? All required hardware is present..
