Default Thunderbolt Hard Drives

Typically I like to split my tracks between 2 drives when using the RME MADIface just to be safe. Would love to buy a Thunderbolt drive and just carry one. Has anyone had any issues tracking 48 channels one a single Thunderbolt drive?

drive throughput is way lower than TB's throughput so it really depends on the drive(s) in the case

JB- Side note, how are you liking that MADIface? I am purchasing one soon. Thoughts?

Ken it's great! Especially since I'm not always on VENUE. It allows me to get "virtual soundcheck-ish" capability on Soundcraft, Digico, and Allen & Heath.(we don't have the network bridge for our Midas Pros yet to convert to MADI)
