Neyrinck Soundcode Stereo Not in CPTK2?

Hello good people

Just did the cross grade to PT9 and with it upgraded to CPTK2. Was excited to get Soundcode Stereo for downmixing purposes, however, when I went to install from neyrinck.com, I was alarmed to read that I needed to upgrade to Soundcode Stereo LtRt. Say it ain't so! I'd hate to purchase all these "bundles" only to find out I have to shell out more cash just to keep up to date. But alas, this is the Avid way. Any work around? Should I resort to MIX 51?

You actually do get Soundcode with CPTK. It downmixes to straight stereo but it won't do LtRt's, that's what the paid upgrade is for.

Yes, the Soundcode Stereo that comes with CPTK 1 or 2 is just for monitoring a 5.1 mix in stereo, such as editing on a laptop, etc.

As I learned elsewhere on the forum, the installer is included on the PT9 disk image, it's not downloadable from Neyrinck directly.

No. It's the CPTK 2 installer that installs both SoundCode Stereo and X-form.

Guys, I know and get what it does--however, when I installed CPTK2 I only see X-Form popping up in my plug-ins folder. The installer instructions for SoundCode Stereo direct me to the Neyrinck website, in which ONLY the upgrade is made available.

Maybe I'm not getting it, but it also appears that Smack! is missing too...However, when I go to download Smack! the only dmg available is for PT8.

Smack is not included with Complete Toolkit 2. Or did you already own it and just can't find it?

Did you checkerboarded both X-Form and SoundCode Stereo on CPTK2 installer? I just used that same installer, and it just installs X-Form and SoundCode Stereo. And in fact, that's all it does. SoundCode LtRt, is a different animal, and paid upgrade from SoundCode Stereo,

Well, either you're a genius or I'm a moron (I believe the latter) but the re-install worked. Soundcode has been successfully installed. However, I cannot monitor (downmix) any 5.1 sessions...hmm. VU's are bouncing, but no output. Could this be because I am operating PT9 software only?
