Default Mbox LE 6.4 DAE error 9035...Help?

I just bought this Mbox and installed everything, followed the instructions, tried to record my first test and boom I get this error nobody knows anything about. I googled all the possible fixes I could find and nothing seems to work.

OSX 10.3.8 Filevault on
session saved in HD root
no wacky session names with illegal characters or anything like that
verified and repaired permissions like 3 or 4 times
reinstalled many times
restarted many times
tried to use protools as another account with filevault turned off, unexpected error, couldn't start

My good friend at studio G in Brooklyn said I shouldn't need to turn off Filevault and I don't really know what else to do other that purchase an external drive and am reluctant to do so not knowing if it will even solve the problem...I'm seriously dissapointed so far

Are you possibly saving your session somewhere within a User folder (possibly to the desktop)? If so, then Filevault is the problem. You should resave the session, including all audio files (use 'Save Session Copy In' from the File menu), close the current session and open the newly saved version.

If you are still unsuccessful, it could be an issue with your primary hard drive. It is STRONGLY recommended that you use a secondary drive to record and play back your Pro Tools sessions.

hmmm, it comes up here pretty often, a quick search through the forums should give you a ton of answers. You can also use the answerbase (link at the top of the page) which has several solutions for -9035's. Digi's got the scoop on the filevault thing, but if they're answers don't help, definitely look around this forum/answerbase, you'll find lots of info.
