I've gotta say that phantom power should have no effect on the software. That is all happening out in the analog world before any a/d conversion. What makes you say that phantom power is causing the problem?

because everything else works fine except when i need to arm a track that i need phantom power on? i can use dynamic mics and whatever else. just when you hit the arm button on a track with phantom power engaged the error comes up, and ive checked the error about disabling ac-3 in the system prefs. on the mac and it is, and i still get the ptoblem.
