too scared to go vista at the moment. not familiar with ASUS M2N32-SLI
but very happy with m2n-sli non deluxe model 7.4 seems solid on this.

rossi56,

On the non-deluxe bios, do you have the ability to change the multiplier for overclocking? I'm considering getting the non-deluxe board with an X2 5000+ "black series" cpu, and if the non-deluxe has ability to change multiplier that would be very cool. Let me know if you can. I can't find any reviews for the non-deluxe version. Only the deluxe version seems to have any reviews.

Rossi, did you have any problems with the m2n-sli on xp. Because I'm runing vista but when i plu g more than one usb device in the mobo, pt gets buffer errors. But when i only have the m-box and firewire hard drive plugged into the mobo pt works incredible. Is it a usb problem or vista problem. I'm defenitely going to back down to xp but i don't want he problem on xp. What kind of updates did you have to do?

You might want o double check what your USB configuration choices are in BIOS brfore you roll back to XP, It could be something simple.

I was thinking that but i'm not too good with computers when it comes to that stuff.Lol! And if i take it to the shop for them to check it out there going to charge me even if they don't fix anything. But i guess i'll have to.

If you were in BIOS you would tab over to the ADVANCED TAB and arrow down to the USB CONFIGURATION field and make sure the following values are set.

USB CONTROLLER = [ENABLED]

USB 2.0 CONTROLLER = [ENABLED]

USB LEGACY SUPPORT = [ENABLED]

Hit F10 to save and exit

Also if it works fine with just the Mbox and the external drive its good chance one of your other devices that you unplugged is the culprit as far as whats dragging the system down.

Everythings enabled. If something else is bogging the system down how would i fix that? Is there a way that i could maybe lessen the amount of power given to a individual device?
