What's the deal w/ click-and-drag???

Most of the time when I click on a region to drag from the Regions List into a track, it doesn't take. I have to go back, click again (sometimes twice) to finally get it 'attached' to the mouse pointer and over into a track. This has been a problem since I started on ProTools 7 years ago. Doesn't matter which computer or version of PT.

Has this been a problem for you? Have you found a solution or work-around?

Hmmm, I'm only using PTLE 6.x.

Sounds like you're in shuffle mode and you're not moving the mouse close enough to snap to the file?

Just an idea.

I have no problems with it.

I've always had the same problem as well, on countless numbers of ProTools rigs (my own at home, and several others at studios around town). I've just come to accept this as an inherent PT problem, I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.

hey, Voxer, same here, but it seems to happen more on stereo files than mono for some reason.
