Blue Screen Error - Win 7 and PT LE 8.0.3

I'm having "blue screen error" with Win 7 32-bit and Pro Tools LE 8.0.3 (003 Rack interface). It happens a few minutes after PT is opened, and keeps on even when I restart the OS and don't open Pro Tools.

At first, my tech support suspected incompatibility between the slot memories, but after changing them, the problem remains. I asked for downgrading from Win 7 to XP. Haven't tested it yet.

Any ideas?

I know PT 8.0.3 works a beta version for Win 7, but decided to try... Awful!

Thanks for the reply.

I downgraded from Win 7 to Win XP (SP3), and my problem is solved. The system is running flawless. No more "blue screen".

I fully agree... Win 7 was a downgrade to me. I'll use it only with a fully supported PT version that is also tested by users...
