Default error message

Trying to record a track. When I stop I get message: Could not complete your request because Assertion in "CNeolOBlock.cpp, line 164". Nothing is recorded. Then I tried again, and could get the recording to stop... pressed tool bar and transport stop button, and just keeps going. Had to quit pro tools for it to stop.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically those areas on trashing preference and database files.

Yep, I also got (for the very first time) a Neo error while running a session in my Pro Tools and I perfectly solved the problem by trashing the correct files listed in the General Troubleshooting. Check it out.
