Default Set up memory locations to show different track view selectors

Is there a way to set up memory locations to show different track view selectors.

For example, in one memory location just want to show the one track but all of it's playlists(It has about 5) so using "playlist view"

and in another memory location I just want to show all the other tracks but want the previously mentioned track to show as just one track, i.e. in "waveform" view rather than "playlist"

I have tried using memory locations, but it just stays with whatever the kast selected track view was. Hope this makes sense.

So is it possible to have different track views in different memory locations?

I do not know of any remember-track-view-method,
but would it help, if you select a clip in the loop-recording-track and right-click, matching alternatives, expand to new tracks (wording may be different, I am German).
From that onwards, it is possible to create show/hide-tracks-memory locations (with no time property) as usual.

I think I've sorted it, just removed the playlist tracks from view in the "tracks" list. Or is that what you were saying to do? Thanks for your help :)

Do you know if there's a way to hide/show automation in window configurations?

For example, I wanted to have one configuration zoomed in on one track detailing all the automation used. Then in another I want to be able to show all tracks, but just as tracks, with no automation.

Actually. I spoke to soon, I took all the playlist tracks out of view and they just reappear next time I go back to that memory location.

I am suggesting, that you create 5 new audio tracks. Ctrl+drag the alt takes from your track with the playlist to those new tracks.

Never heard of that, seems impossible.

It's now Dec 2024 - anyone figure this out yet - how to set up Memory Location to include track view selection of Playlist (or any other track view selection like Waveform or Blocks )?
