Default How many D-Verb plug ins with PCI audiophile 192

Hello!

I am interested in the efficiency of the PCI (audiophile 192) vs USB (Mbox). How many digidesign verbs, while still having your system be able to play/record, are you able to have and with what mother board and processor?

Thanks for any quick posts. (The test is easy just put DVerbs on one channel and copy till you can't playback or record any more).

Why not just run The DaveC tests? They are tried and true, uniform tests that are easily compared.

I personally consider any test including the DVerb to be flawed due to the denormalization factor.

that would indeed give very useful direct comparison with the MBox results that have been pouring in on the Mbox forum, The DVerb test is just real easy to do, so if you are in a hurry, give us the much appreciated thoroughness of the Davec tests when you can, until then a quick peek into the competiveness of the PCI card vs Mbox would be way cool!

Thanks
