Default Strange problem w/ smack LE

I installed the smack and pulltec plugs that i got w/ my 7.0 upgrade. I am still running 6.4cs9 so I installed the 6.x smack version. Whenever I adjust the input, output, attack or realese controls things get really funky:
Turning the input & attack knobs: the knob disapeers and changes into all these weird colors.
Turning the realese & output knobs: turning these knobs It turns into 2 knobs.
The VU meter is like 8 differant colors, and sometimes i will have 2 on each side of the VU.
I uninstalled and reinstalled and its still flaking out.

Anyone????

I tryed that, no dice. Smack! is still all jacked up, but the pulltec eq's are fine.

Hmm that is strange as I had the same exact issue and changing my video to
32 bit fixed the problem.I would double check to see if the settings saved.
you may have to reboot,although you should'nt have to with XP.

try changing it this way.....

click windows start tab

control panel=>Display

click on "Settings" tab and change it from the pulldown menu.

Click okay and it should change and save your settings.
