Default Saving automation parameters with plug in preset

Is there no way to save the selected automation parameters of each plug in within it's preset?

That doesn't seem to work. Maybe I wasn't clear. I have a preset saved and certain automation parameters saved. Not all of them but certain ones. How can I save that? I haven't had any luck.

Plugin presets are disconnected from automation parameters. They only save the current snapshot of settings.

If you're referring to the enabled parameters for the plugin that is saved within the session and for each plugin instance. It would probably save with a Track Preset but I haven't looked.

Thanks. I tried it with a track preset and it does work that way so that's good. At least it works some way.

Try import session data for those tracks. Not a solution but an inconvenient work around.

good idea actually. I don't how I didn't think that. I still don't know why they don't save with the preset. That seems like a no brainer.

You wouldn't want it always saved with the preset, so there would have to be a setting in the save preset dialog.

Just sayin' I wouldn't want it to. Plugin presets with automation enabled on some parameters might not always be what I want.
