Default 002 Rack on DELL Inspiration 700m

Dear All,

I just got my 002 Rack today and i tried to run on my DELL Inspiration 700m.

My config are listed below:

DELL 700m

Pentium M 1.8GHz
1GB RAM
80GB 7200rpm Harddisk

Windows XP SP2

Billionton Cardbus 1394 Card.

Apple Firewire cable

Pro Tools 7.1

with M-Powered ilok.

I can't even playback a five minutes tracks? What happen to my system?

Its ok when i use it with my M-Audio FW410 and Pro Tools M-Powered!

Is that the driver for the 002 Rack are more demanding?

Thanks

KMK

You need Pro Tools LE to use the Digi 002R.
Will not work with Pro Tools M-Powered.

I got both FW410 to work with Pro Tools M-Powered

and Pro Tools LE to work with 002 Rack

Both are Ver. 7.1

My initial guess would be that. The digidesign interfaces are definitely more picky about what firewire interface they are connected to.

You might also want to check through the General Troubleshooting thread especially the part about trashing prefs and databases, and including the part at the end about posting details about your system with Sandra. It will make it easier to point out pontential issues.
