Hardware not recognized.........
ok, just bought a new Macpro and am trying to set up pro tools 8 on it. I did a transfer from my G5 to get all my settings onto the new Macpro, but when I go to start pro tools I get the reading "unable to locate digidesign hardware......" My 002 is connected, on, and ready to go. I'm sure there's a simple answer for this, but I haven't had to set this up in almost four years and can't remember what I might need to do. I can't get into pro tools to check the hardware status as it won't let you turn it on without the hardware! Please help!
