Does anyone know if there is a plug-in for HD that decodes MS ? TIA

I think there is a Waves plug that will.
But you don't need a plug, you can do it directly in PT. Take the S track and copy it to a third track. Now you have Track 1=S, track 2=M and track 3=S. Put any plug that alows you to invert the phase on all three tracks(so the delay stays the same) and invert track 3. Make a new pair of tracks (Your new LR tracks) and bus 1&2 to one side and 2&3 to the other. If you group the S tracks you can vary the "spread" with the S faders. Not as simple as a plug but cheaper and does the same thing. |
