Question: Will the version of PT that comes with the M-box allow me to use my current set of RTAS plugs, or is there going to be a "HD LE" version (for session compatibility between TDM HD and LE)?

Point to the question:
I would love to get an M-box to supplement my desktop system, but I do not have any desire to "buy again" all of the RTAS plugs that I have.

The info on your website is inconclusive, and I am wondering how you will maintain session compatibility between TDM (HD) and LE, since LE only samples as high as 48k. (?)

The implementation of RTAS plug-ins for Mbox is no different than that of our other Pro Tools LE based products.

To prepare a session in Pro Tools|HD (recorded at a sample rate higher than 48 kHz) for use on other systems, just save a copy of the session at a lower sample rate by choosing "Save Session Copy In" from the File menu of Pro Tools 5.3 TDM.
