Which Mac tower do you recommend?

With Protools 9 TDM, I’m Looking for the best Apple tower to run with the following TDM bits I have been collecting: PCIe cards ( HD Core, HD Accel, and Accel Core). Two Avid 96 I/O 8x8 units, Protools HD 9, and a stack of memory and two cards to expand it with (4GB 2RX4 and some 2GB 2RX4)

I have a 2005 Apple G5 made Feb 2005
PM G5/ DC 2.0 / 512 MB/ 260 GB/ SD/ GF 6600

Or there’s an affordable 2008 2.8 dual Core Model: MA970LL/A that appears to be PCIe based. With all Apple towers do I automatically need an separate PCIe expansion rack unit?

If neither of these are a good option , what would you recommend and why?

I’m also planning to use a Presonus Digimax 8 in preamp with light pipe for drumming mics in one room. What’s the best way to incorporate this unit in a TDM system?
