Default Neumann -new Broadcast mics -BCM 705

Has anyone any comments or experience of the new-ish Neumann broadcast type mics - the 705 is the "dynamic" version, or the BCM 104 condenser version ? I am wondering how they would work as a Voice-Over mic ? I've only seen a couple of reviews here in the UK, which were a bit vague-any comments appreciated !

I haven't heard the BCM 705, but I would suggest either the Nuemann TLM103 or the AKG 414XLS for voice-over recording.

I've tried the 104 and was not particularly impressed. It sounded kinda dull and hollow.

I spoke (briefly) into the new dynamic mic, it sounded OK to me.

Hopefully, I'm not going too far off subject, but speaking of interesting new dynamic mics, the Heil PR40 might be the ticket. It's only $199.00 US. I bought one, but haven't had the time to check it out yet. Heard good things from good people about it, so I took the gamble. When I get a chance, I'll report.

Peace.
