Default AES 2004 - Rumors?

With Digidesign retailers running low on stock, especially for the interfaces, does anyone here know if we might be expecting some new TDM hardware for the upcoming AES show in October?

I was told that Digi dealers are low on stock because of the mad rush to get in orders at the end of June to get all the great deals and free plugs before the deal expired. But that was a while ago.

I think DC alluded to a new, HD only version of PT. Hey Rob, didn't you presume it to be v6.7?

Accel Core? If such a thing exists I suspect it will drop at IBC over this weekend (pre-cursor to AES in Europe).

Here's a rumor - many bugs get squashed in PT! If Patrick Henry were alive, he would say "Give me bug-fixes, or give me features!"

Yeah, that would be cool if I could upgrade from my HD Core for less than a $1000.

I can also confirm that I was told the next version will be 6.7.

My first source said "7"
My second, said it was going to be 7 but the name was changed to "6.7".

That's weird, it should either be 6.5 or 7.0 Maybe they couldn't call it 7.0 as it didn't have enough new features to suggest a major release but too many to call it 6.5
