Default MIDI Bank Change in version 6.1.1

Does anyone know if the bank change problem has been fixed in Protools 6.1.1? I mean this is ridiculous: everytime a reload a session, I have to manually change all the banks on my synths. This is the only time i catch myself wanting to go back to OS-9

Please don't tell me to use Logic or Digital Performer: I heard that maybe the problem was with OSX Midi Device Manager. Anyone know if bank change works on Logic or DP OS-X versions?
