Will avid ever update their MBOX 3 drivers for win10?

I was running mbox 3 fine with Pro Tools 12.5, I originally upgraded from Windows 8 to 10 and had no problems. I bought a new case for the pc but cut the story short I decided to clean install Windows 10, now MBOX 3 wont work, the sound cuts out or I get a BSOD, also when I pull up the mbox control panel the sliders are jumpy when I try to move them, its like the whole thing is not compatible.
I looked at the audio panel and mbox is recognised by the PC. I loaded up PT 12 and it tells me it cant find an audio device.
I un installed drivers, re installed, removed firewire PCIE and replaced with another, no luck.
Anyone else having same issue?

You're absolutely right....it isn't compatible. Avid's official stand is "Don't try this on Windows 10." Although I do see many instances of it working, it's strongly recommended against.

Yeah I guess files carried over from 8 to 10 that is why I did not have any problems, I know it is trivial but I noticed windows photo viewer had vanished also which I still had in 10 after upgrading, so that alone tells me certain features have been removed, changed in WIN 10.
Avid are slow to update their drivers, I mean MAC had an update in January, last update for Windows was last summer... lol
I may have to invest in another audio device, thunderbolt one or something...

Windows 10 isn't even qualified for protools period. Lol

Meanwhile ALL other daws are that have Windows variants.

The Mbox 3 line aren't mentioned as devices that will not get Win 10 drivers, but I don't have any ETA on when they will: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...cts&popup=true

Hope it does get a driver, it has been an awesome audio device for over 4ish years for me.... :)

The fix is under this post, in short the X99 motherboards have an IRQ problem but there is a workaround http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=388018
