Default Oh this is annoying

Why is it that as i'm working, somehow my pre-roll and post-roll somehow get turned on or off without my knowing, and the amount of time for each is automatically set to some random number. What keys am I accidentally hitting or clicking that I don't know about?

Thanks y'all

You are likely hitting Command(Mac)/Ctrl(PC)+K which will toggle Post/Pre roll on/off

Perhaps when you are exporting audio.

good try, but no. Only one or the other gets turned on. cmd-K toggles them both. And it happens when im not exporting any files. Either pre- or post. usually post. And the amount of roll changes by a random #.

hmmmmmm... mystery

Placing the cursor, blinking on a track, and Option+Clicking After the cursor, will activate, and Set a value for post roll.
Placing the cursor, blinking on a track, and Option+Clicking BEFORE the cursor, will activate, and Set a value for pre roll.

at some point you could have been still holding option down, while clicking on an audio track with your selector tool.

I'm learning here too. Is there a keystroke to toggle on/off the Preroll only? Command+K toggles both pre & post rolls - is there a way to just toggle one at a time?

Thanks,

John Caldwell

I wish Digi would put the pre/post roll info on the top of the Edit window next to where the transport info is. Plenty of blank space there to do it. I usually keep the Transport window open to keep tabs on the pre/post roll status. It would be nice to not have to keep the Transport window open all of the time.
