Default Stumped over setting track input on a digi 002

Trying to get my new 002 to work and can't get the mics plugged into third or fourth inputs to pick up signal. I know it's not the cable because if I swap them to the first or second input they work fine. All the manual says is "set track input (mic/line 1-4)." I suspect the control surface is supposed to detect the additional mics in 1-4, notify the software and allow me to assign them to whichever tracks -- except the only choice it's giving me is 1-2. I've reinstalled the software and spent two days trying to figure out what dumb thing I'm doing. I give up. Any suggestions? Mac OSX environment. New board. New software (thought 6.4, which is all Sweetwater was shipping when I ordered). Thanks. -- Mike

Load your session, under Setups, go to I/O Setup

Click on EACH tab at the top, one at a time... Input, Ouput, Insert, and Bus.

WHILE you're on each tab, hit the "default" button near the bottom, and move to the next tab.

When you have done all 4 click OK.

Sounds like you are opening a session, that was created on an M-BOX or AMIII, regardless, you need to set your I/O path to the default of the 002

Wasn't really "a Guess" glad you're up and running.
