Editing clips without creating new clips
Is it possible when using the slice tool to simply slice the main clip without creating a new smaller clip?
Im currently editing some drums and taking out silence on the toms for instance. when i make a slice it creates a new clip. The reasons this is a problem are: a) it creates and endless list of clips ie "floor tom_1,....floor tom 60" b) when i try to trim the clip, if i extend it it reveals a loop of the clip rather than revealing more of the original clip. hope this makes sense! jim |
