Default Losfer Words - A DC Modern adventure

Hey guys,

It's a holiday here in Singapore, so I spent the afternoon sorting out my patches and getting some guitaring done. I came across this awesome backing track for Losfer Words and decided to put my new patches to the test

Both rhythm guitar tracks are the DC Modern, one with a Fender Malmsteen Strat and the other with a Soloway (Black limba body, MoJoe pickups). I used a TS9 pedal for both tracks to tighten up the low end and give it a bit more saturation, which I like.

The lead is the Malmsteen strat with the SLO 100 Drive channel.

Mind the big clams

Congratulations from Europe, man, you nailed the Irons song! Sounds better than Powerslave

Did you use a real TS or the one in the Eleven?

It was in fact so good that I just listened to the song.

Beeing a guitar player (hobbyist) and a sound engineer/producer I tend to listen for how it's played and the guitar sound in isolation in threads like these. Just to "qritique"

Where did you get the backing tracks?
I'd like to do something like this in my sparetime as well

Sounds great. I use DC modern all the time, the range of tones out of this one model is pretty wide!

Hey guys, thanks for checking it out and the kind words!

The backing track is available here

@ zuriain: The TS is the one in the Eleven. I've been trying real hard to resist the urge to add an outboard FX unit the the Eleven. Looking forward to the 22 March Xpansion to kill my G.A.S :)

While I'm not familiar with the original song I enjoyed the track a lot. Sounds Awesome!
